In the blink of an eye!!

Well, as many knows Mena was devastated by a tornado. We were getting ready to take cover in the closet, when we heard the windows vibrating. Sam looked out to see that the tornado was in the front yard. We could hear it, we could see it, and we could feel it. We ran to the closet and began praying for God's safety, and singing Father Abraham songs to the girls. In the blink of an eye it was gone. As quick as it came it was GONE!! As we get out this morning such devastation. Such pain!! I explain to my girls what has happened as I cry for these people who lost EVERYTHING. The tornado was HUGE and was ready to take lives. All our lives are changed, my husbands work is GONE! What will we do? As I come on to Reine it is TOTAL devastation, this is where the 3 deaths occurred. Moms car is totaled, and I have no electricity. Who knows when this will all end?!?! Please continue to pray for us all...we need it right now...

We don't like "dugs" daddy!!

So my husband has decided that it would be a wonderful experience for the girls to gather their own eggs. To teach them how to self sufficient! Yea, your talking about two girls who hate

1. Dirt
2. "Dugs" aka bugs
3. "niskittos" aka mosquito's
4. and snakes

He just insist on doing this, so I will let him entertain his self!! He tells us Sat that he wants us to go up to the chicken/rabbit pen and help him clean it out, and put the fence up. So out there we go. The day was beautiful with just the right weather. Aleeyah and Averrie was NOT happy with the fact that we was going to spend another day in that PEN! Aleeyah would not play, since the last time we were there I found a snake under the leaves. Averrie cried every time a gnat would land on her. Then Aleeyah said "Mom, we just ain't outside girls." Well at least she did not say "we AIN'T country girls." I mean with wording like that she would be fibbing. I think the girls agreed to stay out there 10 mins total when all heck broke loose and they seen a red wasp. Well, Aleeyah ran one way with her eyes closed, Averrie ran the other. Sam and myself stood wondering which one would stop before they realized that the wasp was not chasing them, and we were not following them. We are just at the step of getting it ready. If you knew my husband, you would know that he is a perfectionist!! Things have to be just right before he will let it be done. I agree, we need to make sure that the hawk (that flogged us twice) needs to be kept out, but he is unreal. He measures EVERYTHING twice, and then draws out his plan. Weeks later he finally gets to building it. He then informs me that he does not want "simple" rabbits and chickens. So he gets a book and locates some ornate chickens that I have never seen before. He also gets on the Internet and finds Lion Head rabbits.

So below will be the new additions to the Frost family "farm". Unsure of names but at least they are cute right?!?!
Chickens are another story. To me the worse thing in the world is gathering chicken eggs with the poop and snakes to bother with. Not to mention the fact that dear Mr. Rooster does not like anyone!! Ever been attacked by a rooster? NOT FUN!!!!!! If they have spurs you better defend yourself with something BEFORE you go in. Oh heaven help me what have I let him get me into?
So Sam tells Aleeyah "now honey, we are going to gather chicken eggs."
Aleeyah~ "Why?"
Sam~ "We are not going to have to buy eggs at the store anymore."
Aleeyah~ "Will I get dirty gathering eggs daddy?"
Sam~ "You might!"
Aleeyah~ "will there be dugs daddy?"
Sam~ "Probably."
Aleeyah~ "Well, we don't like dugs daddy sorry."
I mean at least she apologizes for hating bugs ha ha...
I told him this was not a good idea!!!!!

Breath, just breath....

I keep telling my self that. Breath, a deep breath and don't panic. I hate celebrating Bethanie's birthday without her. This year seems to be so much harder than the years past. Not sure why. Things are down here today, you can feel the sadness in the air. Not from the kids but from Sam and myself. We are not talking that much, and I have caught him staring into space many times. We did not go to church this morning, decided today was a day for us to just set here. I pray that the day gets better, but things don't seem to be going in that direction. I have kicked my OCD in to high gear, and cleaned out the freezer and about to start on the cabinets. Happy 10th birthday Bethanie...I love you and miss you dearly!!

A shopping we will go....

Ok, time for me to shop. My husband is out of town and I need some new clothes. I mean going from a size 16 to a size 8 in 4 months can cause the clothes to fall off. I mean not that I mind having to squeeze my butt into an 8 or anything..but the clothes are SOOOOOO expensive now days. So as Sam goes off for a fishing tournament (in which he is going to freeze), I am staying mighty warm in the department stores. We should help out the economy right? Well, I am willing to do my part!! I mean IF I HAVE TO!! LOL LOL

So I am figuring Wal-mart is the first stop, need some cute shirts and I love wal-mart. Then on to Stage to see what they have in store for the girls. I ordered Aleeyah the cutest smock dress from ebay (my favorite place). I love the boutique clothes they have on there for the girls. This little dress was adorable, and I HAD to have it. Of course, Sam don't know about it. I usually won't spend any money if I have to watch it go out of my hand lol. Like in Stage, I will look and look, but then I won't spend a dime. If I am on ebay, I just paypal the thing and I don't see it exiting my hand!! Stupid I know, but that is a thought that makes me feel better!! This little smocked dress will be perfect for church, and I pray it is warm enough for her to wear it sunday. I am going to Stage to find a pair of Keds for her to wear with it. I am looking for a light blue big hair ribbon for her to match. I can't wait to see her in it. For Averrie there was this adorable pink sparkly dress that will look adorable on her!!

Well bed is calling my name so that the stores will see me early...

Here is to the last of spring break..

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

Well.........

Another year has came and went. Sunday is Bethanie's 10th birthday! This day (other than her angel-versary) is a dreaded event. I have promised myself that I am going to be better this year. Last year I was irritated all day and snapped like a bomb at the girls. It is just so hard sometimes to think about another birthday that she is not here. Another day that I have to be here without her!! I can't imagine what she would be like, how she would be doing in school? The saddest part of her birthday is the fact that I wanted to see her achieve so many things, and I only got to the walking part. That was the last thing that I got to share with her. The rest is bad images in my mind of that horrible day!! It is hard to be left with so little good memories (she wasn't here long), and so many bad memories (they out number the good). So I want to wish Bethanie Nichole a very very happy birthday....and I pray the next 2 days go by quickly!!!

I feel a bit "rumbly"...

Redoubt Volcano~ 5 Eruptions as of 10pm last night

Ok, there is something going on. Have you noticed that lately there are volcano's erupting and earthquakes in the oddest of places. One of my hobbies, is monitoring all the volcano's and earthquakes around the world. I write each one down, and mark them on a map. I know sounds weird, but it is neat to see where the next one will pop up. The recent eruption of Redoubt in Alaska, has me wondering what the tectonic plates are doing? Since Redoubt is located within the famous Ring of Fire, I would expect it to be quite active. I know that most of you don't find my blogs interesting, but this is so neat to track LOL.
Did you know that there were 914 (and still counting) earthquakes in the states in the last month? There have been 20 around the world today alone. Most of which have epicenters around California. You know that California and Alaska are the two main contributors of the United States earthquakes, with Alaska being the main contributor of active volcano's. You all know about Science and the layout of the tectonic plates, fault lines, and such. Have you ever looked at the Biblical "science" of these earthquakes and volcano's? It says that in the end days that there will earthquakes in diverse places. Well lets look up the word "diverse" the dictionary states means :
–adjective
1.
of a different kind, form, character, etc.; unlike: a wide range of diverse opinions.
2.
of various kinds or forms; multiform

So many think that the word diverse means places where earthquakes are not seen often. We see that this passage just means that it is different locations. It does not specify that they are remote or unusual places, just different places. So we can look at the locations of some of these earthquakes:

3/17- Mag: 2.5 4 miles West of Ragland, Alabama

3/15- Mag: 3.1 3 miles East of Hoback, Wyoming

3/16- Mag: 1.1 3 miles NW of Ridgely, Tennessee

3/23-Mag: 5.2 Carlsberg Ridge near Qalansiyah, Socotra Island, Yemen

3/22- Mag: 3.2 Off the coast of Oregon

3/22- Mag:3.2 9 Miles South of Kanarraville, Utah

3/19 Mag: 7.6 (Major) 135 SSE of Nuku'Alofa, Tonga (another today with Mag: 5.2)

I have over 10 sheets of paper with earthquake reports wrote down, and this is a FEW in the last week to two weeks. I just think that this is so interesting, that there are so many earthquakes hitting the states and the world all at the same time....could it be close to the end?

Let them be little...........

In Everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:28

Have you ever wished that you could go back in time? Be little again and have no worries? I would love to be the age I was in the picture above. No worries, no fears (except for the dark), and have everything taken care of for you? I look at my girls playing today and realize that they are growing up. They are growing up before my eyes, and I no longer have babies. Soon they will be going to school, dating, married, and then having children of their own. They will be setting my seat one day, and be watching their children play. I have never really thought of how fast time flies. That was till I had the girls. In 9 days Bethanie would be 10. That does not seem right!! She has been gone 9 years, and I don't even remember where the time went. I have came to realize something else.....enjoy your children. Time will surely pass you by if you don't. Take time out to make memories with them. To make those types of memories that you think about when your eating turkey on Thanksgiving day. You remember playing in the snow when you were young and having Easter egg fights. Or finding that one egg that had a whole dollar in it. That was allot of money to a small child. Or riding around on the back of daddy while he played the horse. You need to make those memories... My girls have grown up so fast. Aleeyah will be five in August, and Averrie will be three in September. Those memories that I have made with them will be the ones they will tell their children about many years from now.
