Yes, Stacy lives!! I just got into a ravine and am just finding my way out. So many things have happened since my last post. My granny lost her battle with lung cancer. After a year she just couldn't fight it any longer. I took care of her the last day of her life, and found that it was by far the hardest thing to do, but I am glad I did. I was able to hear her say Aleeyah for the last time and smile at me. I sure miss her now!!!
Then just days after my granny left this life for her heavenly life, my best bud Shauna found she had breast cancer. I just set and cried. I know she is a fighter though and will BE here for a good long time!
Then our other best friend was pregnant with her daughter Ava. We were all so excited to get to meet little Ava, and our friends were estatic to have another child. 6 months into the pregnancy, Miss Ava passed away in utero. She was born December 29th a sleeping angel. This took my emotions to a whole new level. To be standing at a baby's casket and grave again was the hardest thing in the world. Old emotions, old heartaches came rushing back! Feeling such pain for my friend and wanting to help, just not knowing how.
Aleeyah is officially a 2nd grader. She is so excited and is growing up. Averrie is starting pre-k this week and I hope she likes it as much as Aleeyah does.
I guess I should get back to posting on this page a little more often.........if I can ever get out of my ravine =-)
